Today: Tyrell Sutton vs. Wisconsin (2005)
RB Respect Month Vol. 2, Day 15: Northwestern's Tyrell Sutton goes supernova on Wisconsin (2005)
Be honest: How many of you remember Northwestern running back Tyrell Sutton? How you answer tells me one of these things:
- You're lying.
- You really know your shit about Ohio high school football.
- You're a Northwestern fan.
- You're Canadian.
- You're either in your mid-30s, like me (or older).
- You're a mid-30s-or-older Wisconsin fan who watched him run for 244 yards and four TD on your team in the Wildcats' 51-48 upset of the No. 14 Badgers in 2005:
Saying Sutton is an unknown isn't me trying to throw shade at him, either. It's just that asking folks if they remember a mid-2000s Northwestern running back who barely has three rows of usable photos on Google Images isn't a great way for me to beat the college-football-hipster-living-in-the-past allegations.
