Bulletpoints: Western Michigan
There was nothing not to love about the Buckeyes 56-0 win.
- Ohio State's first two games are the perfect example of why the scoreboard never really tells you the true story of a game. Despite similar scores, this was night and day compared to Akron in terms of looking ready to play, execution, and attention to detail. There's stuff to nitpick if you really want to, but the Buckeyes played a great game, and it was exciting for what it was. They got young players and back ups some necessary reps, and walked out of The Shoe healthy. It's Western Michigan, but Ohio State got better from week one to week two. That's all you can really ask for.
- There's a couple of throws I'm sure Will Howard would love to have back, but it's great that he doesn't look like he's thinking himself to death in the pocket. He knows what he's seeing, and how to process it.
- As explosive as TreVeyon Henderson can be, there's just a different level of burst and physicality in the way Quinshon Judkins' runs. He's who I want carrying the rock in crunch time against the better teams on this schedule and in the postseason.
