With apologies to every other great running back showcased in Running Back Respect Month™️, there was only ever one player I was interested in featuring twice. I've made it my mission to get people to understand how unbelievable Garrett Wolfe was at Northern Illinois, and posting about his remarkable performance against No. 1 Ohio State in 2006 a couple weeks ago simply wasn't enough to get the job done.
So how about four weeks later when he had 353 yards on 31 carries (11.4), and scored three touchdowns in NIU'S 40-28 win over Ball State?
