There's a lot I love about San Diego State Football. The two-tone helmet from the early 2000s. The shoulder stripes from their late 2000s uniforms. The fact that the city of San Diego kicks ass. But more than all that, I love San Diego State because they run the god damn ball. In last year's RB Respect Month, I highlighted the day Marshall Faulk put up 242 yards and three touchdowns on USC in 1992:

This year, it's the night Donnel Pumphrey broke Faulk's career program rushing record by running for 281 yards and three TD in the Aztecs' 45-40 win over Cal in 2016:
