Welcome to 2StripesCPD Digital, Vol. 10! If you're new here, The idea of 2StripesCPD Digital is to be like an online magazine –think Sports Illustrated from back in the day– where I give you all of the video/audio/other content I've done during the week, plus some news from around college football, and anything else about the sport that's on my mind. Here's what's in this edition:
- The week one Hits of the Week video.
- Re-visiting the podcast I did with my dad this offseason telling his legendary story about the 2001 Colorado-Nebraska game.
- My initial 2024 head coach Hot Seat Rankings
- My weekly appearance on the Gabe Kuhn Show, and more!

Hits of the Week: Week One
I debated with myself all offseason about whether to bring back the Hits of the Week videos. They're fun as hell to make, but are by far the most stressful and time-consuming piece of content I do during the season. In the end, I couldn't help myself. Enjoy Hits of the Week, Week One:
Colorado-Nebraska: Hate week
As someone who grew up going to Colorado games every fall Saturday in the real Big 12 era, the CU-Nebraska rivalry means everything to me. With the two set to square off tomorrow, it's a great time to re-share the podcast I did this offseason with my dad about the legendary 2001 game. He tells the story of him helping bring an FDNY ladder to the game, how he snuck them away from the university and into our tailgate, getting a field pass to stay with the firefighters, and eventually stealing a game ball. It's a wild (but true) chronicle that also recounts the history of the rivalry leading up to CU's monumental win, and the fall of the Nebraska football program. Check it out:

My weekly appearance on the Gabe Kuhn Show
I have a weekly radio appearance on the Gabe Kuhn Show on 92.9 ESPN in Memphis every Wednesday at 5:30PM ET. This week we talked about the time I had at the Stanford-TCU game, whether Florida State can save their season, and my thoughts on week two. Listen below:
